New 2026 Chevrolet Silverado EV Redesign, Release Date, Price – The 2026 Chevrolet Silverado EV is an all-new electric pickup truck. While the Silverado EV shares a similar powertrain to the GMC Hummer EV it has a more toned-down design, a unique midgate design, and a more affordable price tag. The Silverado EV faces off against strong competition in a growing segment. The big news for the 2026 Chevrolet Corvette is the introduction of the track-ready Z06. The Z06 raises the C8 Corvette’s performance bar with a naturally aspirated 5.5-liter V8 engine making 670 horsepower and a European exhaust note. The Z06 also brings a litany of other performance upgrades that make it an American supercar.
The only other noteworthy change is a new 70th Anniversary model that’s meant to commemorate the Corvette’s 70th birthday. It will only be available on the range-topping 3LT trims for both the coupe and convertible body styles. Z06 Corvettes will go on sale this summer after the standard 2026 Stingrays. We expect availability to be extremely limited.

All Corvettes only come with two seats. Because of the sports car’s mid-engine design, the Corvette has a combined cargo capacity of 12.6 cubic feet of space behind the front and rear trunks.
The base Corvette comes well-equipped on the tech front. The sports car features a standard 8-inch touchscreen, a Wi-Fi hot spot, 10 audio speakers, two USB ports, and Bluetooth. Navigation is an extra $1,795 on the base 1LT trim. Moving up to the 2LT trim brings a Bose 14-speaker audio system, navigation, a head-up display, and a wireless charging pad as standard. On the tech front, the 2026 Chevrolet Silverado EV comes standard with a 17.7-inch touchscreen and an 11-inch digital instrument cluster. The truck has Google built-in compatibility, a wireless charging pad, a Bose seven-speaker audio system, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a 14-inch head-up display.

The 2026 Chevrolet Silverado EV is a full-size electric pickup truck that is 233.1 inches long, 83.8 inches wide, and 78.7 inches tall. Chevrolet offers the pickup truck as a crew cab model with a 5-foot-11-inch bed. The pickup has an innovative midgate design that creates a pass-through between the bed and can for storage of items that are 10 feet long with the multi-function tailgate folded. Chevrolet does not specify what size battery pack the 2026 Silverado EV comes with. The electric pickup truck has an estimated maximum range of up to 440 miles and can get up to 67 MPGe combined. The Silverado EV is capable of charging at up to 350 kW, which can bring up to 100 miles of range in 10 minutes.

Standard safety features on the 2026 Chevrolet Silverado EV include forward and reverse automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, pedestrian and cyclist detection, intersection assist, traffic sign recognition, a driver attention monitor, adaptive cruise control, a surround-view camera, automatic park assist, and speed limit assist. Chevrolet’s Super Cruise hands-free driver-assist system is also included.
