Exterior and Interior

While the engine of the Corvette SUV is new, the inside is very similar to that of the Stingray and Z06 models. Although it only has room for two passengers, this vehicle offers a wide variety of personalization choices, including as carbon fiber, leather, fake suede, and metal. The convertible is much like any other car. The driver is seated behind a steering wheel that is squared off. A 12-inch, customizable gauge display, a big infotainment touchscreen facing the driver for easier use, and more are all part of the amenities. There are distinct portions on the panel that show the torque and power of the gas engine and the electric motor. The interior design takes the driver-focused idea to its logical conclusion with the addition of what we call the Great Wall of HVAC Controls. Centrally mounted on the Corvette is a 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine that transfers 495 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque to the rear axles. A 1.9 kilowatt-hour battery pack is situated between the seats of the Corvette SUV, which powers an electric motor mounted on the front axle. An additional 160 hp and 125 lb-ft of torque are provided by this configuration, which enables all-wheel drive (AWD). Regenerative braking and regular driving are the two most common methods of charging the battery. The eight-speed automatic gearbox allows you to swiftly accelerate with a small touch of the accelerator, eliminating the need to wait for a gear shift. Instantaneous torque, made possible by the electrified setup, is particularly useful for regular driving and makes this conceivable. When a V8 engine is coupled with electric propulsion, it may achieve incredible results.

In this mode, the vehicle’s front wheels are the only source of propulsion, allowing it to traverse six kilometers at speeds of up to 72 kilometers per hour. Chevrolet has been fairly forthright about the fact that the next Corvette SUV will feature a substantially plusher ride, making it ideal for grand touring and long-distance comfort. The fact that it can be traced doesn’t change this. The standard adaptive suspension is a technological marvel; it is fast, comfortable, and still handles turns with confidence.

Despite having more mass on the front axle, the Corvette SUV turns in quickly and is quite stable. While the squared-off carbon fiber wheel’s turn-in is fast, it may benefit from more input and feel. With all the available options and trim levels, the estimated price for the New 2026 Chevrolet Corvette SUV can go as high as $80,000. The base model starts at roughly $60,000. With affordable pricing having long been a top priority for Corvette, it’s reasonable to expect a five-seat Corvette that offers decent ground clearance, load capacity, and genuine performance to target the value segment.

We expect base models to sell for around the same as the current mid-engine C8 Corvette’s base model, with higher trim levels potentially reaching Z06 territory. However, entry-level cars should be able to sell for around the same. For the time being, though, these estimated costs are only that: estimates.
