Exterior and Interior

The Corvette SUV’s futuristic interior, which is still only a two-seater, is lined with materials like leather, genuine metal accents, and faux suede. Even the headliner has exquisite stitching. In relation to the roof, it is detachable from the coupe and fits precisely behind the engine compartment in the trunk, just like it did on previous Corvette SUVs.

A 12.0-inch reconfigurable gauge display and a squared-off steering wheel are positioned in front of the driver, who can easily operate a huge infotainment touchscreen that is tilted toward them. The driver-focused idea is further enhanced by the interior design, which features a tall bank of climate control switches that splits the cockpit. The inside of the Corvette SUV is excellent overall. If you upgrade to the 3LT package, you’ll get carbon-fiber trim and premium materials like stitched leather on the majority of the inside surfaces.

We tested it and found that it suited our set of clubs with ease, so it appears that Chevy is right about this. We managed to fit one carry-on-size suitcase in the front trunk of the Corvette SUV and two in the rear compartment when it came time to check if there was space for them.

Engine and Performance

Theoretically, a compact-sized Corvette SUV could come with a turbocharged four-cylinder or a twin-turbo V-6, while a mid-sized one would no doubt come with GM’s 6.2-liter V-8 engine. A supercharged version of that engine is currently in the larger Escalade V, and if Chevy were to drop that in and call it a Corvette SUV Z06 SUV, it would set its sights on more exotic competition such as the Ferrari Purosangue and the Lamborghini Urus.

The EPA rates the Corvette SUV’s fuel efficiency as 15 mpg in the city, 27 mpg on the highway, and 19 mpg overall. We tested its fuel efficiency on a 200-mile highway drive, and the results showed 26 mpg, which was 1 mpg less than anticipated. The price of the 2026 Chevrolet Corvette SUV is expected to start around $60,000 and go up to $80,000 depending on the trim and options. A five-seat Corvette SUV with ground clearance, cargo space, and serious go-fast performance will likely skew toward the value-ended side of things, as accessible price tags have long been a key tenet in the Corvette SUV’s mission.

We think entry-level models could even sell at a slightly lower entry price than the current mid-engine C8 Corvette SUV’s base model—though upper trims could reach into Z06 territory—but these estimated prices are stabs in the dark at this point.
